London Boroughs

London has been realising the benefits of INDO's induction lighting systems since early 2008, and are making savings of over 40% in energy. INDO is replacing 178W chargable high pressure sodium street lighting units with 105W chargable INDO induction units. This is amounting to a whole life saving of over £600 per unit in energy and £150 per unit in maintenance.

Local authorities in London are also installing INDO's ST9:QUDO:150W which is providing a maintained S1 lighting classification, improved colour rendering index (CRI) of 82 (previously 25) and realising expected whole life savings of over £300 per unit.

Bus Depot

INDO replaced 22 x 150W high pressure sodium lanterns (178W circuit consumption) with the 150W INDO ST9 luminaire (158W circuit consumption), increasing the light output by 80% and saving 11% in energy! Due to the 20 year maintenance-free life span of the INDO system, an expected capital and maintenance saving of over £6000 has been realised.
